when talking about the fidelius charm: who can tell the secret the Secret Keeper keeps? it is to say: if the Potters made the Fidelius Charm and Scabbers was the Secret Keeper, after that Scabbers was the only one who could tell the secret, isn't it? So the Potters couldn't And nor anyone who had known by the Secret Keeper...Aaaaaand it is to say that in case Scabbers told the secret to many Death Eaters (it just doesn't convince me)they would have gone all with Voldemort but as i don't believe this happened i think that Scabbers only told Lord Voldemort the secret (where was Godric Hollow)and went ALONE. I think this justifies your theory of "Voldemort: alone or with someone else?"
Or he (voldemort) could have told Scabbers to say the secret to someone else...and then Voldemort was accompanied!
hmmm thanks emer, but THAT DOESN'T HELP MEE!! Scabbers COULD tell everyone else of the Death Eaters where the Potters lived! I am just asking for a proof of Voldemort being ALONE in Godric Hollow. I have one: if he wasn't alone, how was that he gave Lily the chance of living? But it could be interpreted like this: Snape was the favorite Death Eater, so he and Voldemort went together to Godric's Hollow and killed James. And as Snape had been (or was) in love with Lily he asked Voldemort to give her a chance.
I don't undestand anything because:
if Snape was in love with Lily, it just have no sense that Voldemort give her a chance. Only as a favour to Snape??? And wouldn't she be a disturb years later? (she would know why Voldemort wanted to kill Harry. But far now i am not sure he wanted this. If he wanted Harry being a Horcrux? Harry dead is for no use, then.)
if Voldemort went alone..it's weird. Had been Voldemort somehow related to Lily and it was hard to kill her? He liked death, he liked murdering. It has NO SENSE
but i'd like theories in there...not just news (that i read and post in my web too) coz they're just awesome
i think i agree with you eva in this matter (Voldemort) and emer you have to learn how masters do theories!! (with masters i say this person...who's name...oh yeah eva!hehe)
