el 21 de febrero de 2008 todo el mundo tiene que haber reservado ya su copia de HP7 porque...siiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiii!!!!!! sale a la venta!!!!!!!! PORFIIIIN!! el séptimo y último libro de esta magnífica saga!!

qué feliz soyyyyy jajajaj aunque ya me lo haya leído... UF! es que es, sin lugar a dudas, el más personal de todos los libros, el que más rabia me ha dado, el que más desolación e impotencia me ha hecho sentir y con el que más me he reído y disfrutado. Es simplemente genial! asi que a comprarlo todos !!

El 18 de septiembre va a ser un día muy esperado para los fans de Harry Potter, después evidentemente del 13 y 21 de julio, es el día en que podremos tener en nuestras manos el dichoso cofre con los 7 libros de Harry Potter (tapa dura), cerradito y muy bonito con su llavecita tralará! Costará algo así como mucho dinero XD pero triunfará como la cocacola, aunque la mayoria de la gente que se lo compre ya tenga todos los libros (como yo...que los tengo hasta en latín. y tiene mérito, porque no tengo idea de latín jajaja :P)

si alguien quiere pedir el cofre, ya se puede en Barnes&Nobles

Scholastic ha anunciado que la version americana de Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows será de...784 paginas!!!!!!!!!!!! y eso lo convertirá en el libro más largo después de OotP! yuhuuuuuuu!!!!! sera casi tan largo como OotP!

el titulo lo dice todo

segun HarryLatino el titulo se podria traducir asi como:

6. Harry Potter y los Espíritus Mortales

Las agencias oficiales de noticias Reuters (Inglaterra), DPA (Alemania) y Notimex (Mexico) lo han titulado como Harry Potter y Los Santos de la Muerte.
El portal mexicano EsMas, lo tituló Harry Potter y los Muertos Sagrados.
Radio Programas del Perú Noticias y otros medios, que lo llamaron Harry Potter y los Santos Mortales.
la agencia EFE de España, Harry Potter y las Llamadas Mortales.
Prensa Latina de Cuba, fue más particular: Harry Potter y el Portero Sepulcral.

20 minutos de España lo llamó Harry Potter y las Santificaciones Mortales, El PaísHarry Potter y los Benditos Moribundos y el ABC lo tradujo como Harry Potter y los Mortíferos Santos.

y porque tantos? pues pk el titulo es muy ambiguo.

Según el Oxford English Dictionary hallow significa:

hallow (n.) 1. A holy personage, a saint. (Little used after 1500, and now preserved only in all-hallows and its combinations, q.v.) 2. In plural, applied to the shrines or relics of saints; the gods of the heathen or their shrines. In the phrase to seek hallows, to visit the shrines or relics of saints; orig. as in sense 1, the saints themselves being thought of as present at their shrines. 3. A loud shout or cry, to incite dogs in the chase, to help combined effort, or to attract attention.

traducción al castellano:

hallow (sustantivo) 1. Una persona sagrada, un santo. (Poco usado después del 1500, y en la actualidad sólo conservado en "todos los santos" y sus posibles combinaciones, q.v.) 2. En plural, aplicado a los sepulcros o reliquias; los dioses paganos o sus santuarios. si, lo siento. voy a seguir rayando con el tema del titulo. empiezo el año igual que terminé el anterior :)

Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows es el titulo más dificil de traducir, puesto que ni sabemos a qué se refiere (lugar, comunidad de gente, leyenda...esto va para otro post)

he aquí los titulos que se han ido publicando en páginas web relacionadas con Harry Potter, es decir, no son los titulos definitivos, pero para hacernos una idea de lo que puede significar el titulo...

pero lo mejor es que este titulo me recuerda demasiado a los dos posibles titulos (ambos registrados) que fueron desbancados finalmente por "Harry Potter and the Half-Blood Prince". Eran "Harry Potter and the Hogwarts Hallows" y "Harry Potter and the Hallows of Hogwarts". Bien, pudiera ser que esta vez el titulo tomara otro sentido pero creo que viene a ser algo relacionado con Hogwarts. Ya lo creí antes de acordarme de estos dos posibles titulos para el sexto libro.

Book 7 Update!!

this post is in english for EM, my best HP friend, who has been there to talk about Harry Potter theories since...always. (and has asked for a -or some more- posts in english)

wooooooooooooooooow!!! JKR has update her site!! So happy!! No that i visit her site everyday...just twice a day! hahaha (no. i just visit it when i think she has updated that means to be...everyday U__U)

and what happens when she updates? THAT I AM REEEEEEAAALLY REAAALLY HAPPY! and this time more as she has written a note in News Section titled Book 7 Update

Now that I'm back from New York, the only real news is that I'm continuing to work hard on the book. I've done quite a lot, and I'm really enjoying it, though every now and then I look up and realise that it's THE LAST ONE. You might think I'd have got used to that idea during the sixteen years I've been planning seven books, but it still keeps hitting me... no more Harry after this... and then I bury myself in book seven again and tell myself I've still got plenty to write.

The heightened security restrictions on the airlines in August made the journey back from New York interesting, as I refused to be parted from the manuscript of book seven (a large part of it is handwritten, and there was no copy of anything I had done while in the US). They let me take it on, thankfully, bound up in elastic bands. I don't know what I would have done if they hadn't; sailed home, probably.

I am currently trying to decide between two possible titles. I was quite happy with one of them until the other one struck me while I was taking a shower in New York. They would both be appropriate, so I think I'll have to wait until I'm further into the book to decide which one works best.

there is only one thing i want in life: knowing these two titles. B)

I can't believe she hadn't a copy of the manuscript of the book...is she mad? :O

i want the book 7 to be as long as a book can be...2000 pages would be ok, isn't it? ;)

cagondena, un rumor desvetllat. Els que estavem embobats pensant en les 750 pàgines ja escrites ens hem de fer a la idea que nanai, encara no s'ha acabat el llibre. Tots sabeu de què parlo no? del 7e llibre de Harry Potter obviament!!

En Rupert Grint ha estrenat una peli ultimament, Driving Lessons, i el dia de l'estrena va anar la Rowling a apoiarlo (trobo que es una dona fantàstica). El Daily Mirror va parlar amb ella, així com The Ticket, on va dir que ja anava molt encaminada cap a acabar el setè llibre i segurament últim de la saga, però no deixa anar res sobre el que li espera a en Harry: morirà o no? :O

"I'm up to about 750 pages now, but I'm not telling anyone what happens to Harry," she says. "I've just come along to support Rupert who's absolutely terrific in Driving Lessons."
(tinc gairebé 750 pàgines ja, però no diré res sobre el que li passarà a en Harry, només vinc a apoiar en Rupert etc)

Però malauradament sabem que el Daily Mirror no és de molt de fiar al peu de la lletra, i trobo que si no ha dit mai res, no dirà ara quantes pàgines porta escrites. Però sempre cap l'esperança!

La pega és que ho ha desmentit a Rubbish Bin (la Paperera del seu portal online) aixi que ho sento moltissim però ni porta 750 pàgines ni està a punt d'acabar el llibre.

Oh pleeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeease. I haven't written 750 pages of book seven, and if I had, I'd be very worried, as I'm not close to finishing it yet.

I was at the tea party for Driving Lessons, though, so this isn't pure fiction. The journalist reports that I said that Rupert is 'absolutely terrific' in the film. He is, so that bit shouldn't be in the rubbish bin at all.

De fet no sé si alegrarme, vull que el 7e em sorprengui realment...:) aixi que a esperar :P

aprofito el post per desitjar-li tota la sort del mon a en Rupert Grint, per mi el millor actor que hi ha a la saga de Harry Potter. I com a personatge no deixa res que desitjar, és el que més m'ha fet riure. Si he d'escollir el personatge amb qui més m'he encarinyat a part d'en Harry...jo crec que és ell, el Ron.

1r post dedicat exclusivament a Harry Potter. Sabieu que aquest dia no tardaria en arribar xDD i evidentment, m'expresso millor en anglès...(parlant de Harry Potter, és clar)

aaaaand what if there are not 7 horcruxes? what if there are only 5 or 6? think: we don't know exactly how many horcruxes made Voldemort, we "know" through Dumbledore who could only guess about it! if there are less than 7 horcruxes i will be so happy...please please i don't want Harry to be killed! (assuming he is a horcrux and he don't know...yet)
