why dumbledore didn't die - 2

from: Why Dumbledore didn't die v.1

I was discussing about Fawkes, now he is a mystery. We don't know about the extents of his powers, he can Apparate and Disapparate wherever he wishes, no matter the enchantments that are all over the castle. But is it all we can say about him? In fact, it could be that Fawkes could make himself invisible, so that he could spy over Umbridge in OotP. So, Fawkes is a intelligent creature, as he knows about Dumbledore thoughts and needs. But when he is more needed...he never shut up. But why?

Next is the Avada Kedavra performed by Snape.

What if Snape did a false Avada Kedavra?

When Frank Bryce (GoF) died, the curse is described as "a flash of green light, and a rushing sound". The man is dead before hitting the floor...

At Cedric's dead: "a blast of green light blazed through Harry's eyelids, and he heard something heavy fall to the ground beside him. Cedric was laying spread-eagle on the ground beside him. He was dead."

However, when Dumbledore is hit: "A jet of green light shot from the end of Snape's wand and hit Dumbledore squarely in the chest. Dumbledore was blasted into the air. For a split second he seemed to hang suspended beneath the shining skull, and then he fell slowly backward, like a great rag doll, over the battlements and out of sight." (HBP pg. 396).
The flash of green light eas there, but where is the rushing noise?

Dumbledore was blasted backwards like he was hit with a stunning curse rather than dropping straight down dead as one would expect. Nobody looks over the side to see his dead body lying there; it's just assumed that he did in fact die. What if he did not die?

"Never used an Unforgivable Curse before, have you, boy? You need to mean them, Potter!" (OOTP pg. 810, Bellatrix to Harry). Well, if Snape did not mean the curse, he could not murder Dumbledore. The case is "is Snape good or evil?" and we return to another discussion...
